Core Clay, a community studio in Cincinnati, OH hosts a monthly kiln opening event that highlights local artists and their kiln firing processes. This show was an exploration in mid-range gas reduction for both myself and fellow Cincinnati artist: Daniel Luck. Daniel was one of the first people I met when I first moved to Cincinnati in 2014. We both have a love and appreciation for Halloween and have participated in a number of art exhibitions dedicated to the holiday over the years. We continued that tradition as featured artists for Core's 2021 October kiln opening.
